How it works
Promethazine is a sedating antihistamine that helps you fall asleep and stay asleep for a single night, by blocking histamine receptors in the brain.
How to take
Adults aged 16 and over: take one or two tablets 20 minutes before bedtime. Do not use for longer than 7 nights without pharmacist advice.
Possible side effects
- Daytime drowsiness
- Dry mouth
- Blurred vision
- Headache
Important warnings
- Do not drive or operate machinery if drowsy the next day.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Not suitable in epilepsy, glaucoma, prostate enlargement or severe liver disease.
- Not for children under 16.
Storage
Store below 25°C in the original packaging. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
